We were invited by the Logistics Plus team to help them improve the user interface of their newly developed software platform for shipments management.
It was a serious challenge to design UI for a huge and diverse team of clients and employees spread on a few continents with established workflow. We had to drastically improve the UX without any major restructure of the main application frame.
In this case, no UX expert has been involved in the early stages of the software development, so our starting point was similar to the screen below.
It took us some serious efforts to simplify and organise the structure with no drastic reconstructions, so it looks familiar to the users accustomed to the interface of the legacy version.
We managed to reduce the overall amount of the tabs and screens and also to introduce a visual hierarchy to the interface.
